Special Education Matters

All children deserve a free and appropriate education and that includes students who need special education services. The problem in San Bernardino County is that many school districts would rather litigate parents and making lawyers rich instead of providing the educational services that students need. Sharon will speak up at the board to make sure those students are being served. We need to provide the appropriate services so all children can succeed to their potential. She will articulate to WESELPA, the consortium in charge of special education services for school districts in our area to do the job they are supposed to be doing.

We need to be transparent to the parents and students about the rights they have when it comes to public education either by informational pamphlets or access to advocates to help them navigate through the system.
